Caribbean Jee-Jam is a very well equipped and maintained Predator 57. It is a 2016, ex-tax yacht carrying the Maltese flag and commercially registered under the Maltese commercial code. The yacht has been managed and serviced by the Sunseeker Malta team from new.
Caribbean Jee-Jam had two owners from new. The current owner purchased this yacht as an interim yacht until delivery of the new yacht that he is receiving closer to the end of 2023. During his ownership the latest owner undertook various maintenance work to bring the yacht to pristine condition, this includes change in all exterior upholstery, saloon ceiling and helm seats upholstery. Both owners did not spare any money to maintain the yacht to manufacturers standards.
Should a prospective buyer want to add stabilisers and a water maker the yacht would be practically full extras. Our team can carry out these retrofits in-house.
Caribbean Jee-Jam is a very good charter revenue generator, not only it covers its annual running costs but it also provides the owner with a reasonable contribution, whilst allowing him to enjoy the yacht with his family.
Being a commercial yacht, VAT is not paid. Prospective buyers can opt to retain the yacht commercial and EX-VAT or else opt to register it as a private yacht and pay Maltese VAT at 18%. Maltese law allows for VAT payments to be paid over the lifetime of the yacht through an operating lease structure, paying an average of just over 1% VAT per annum over the same period. This % VAT can be reduced further in case the yacht spends time outside EU waters. Non EU individuals can also opt for Temporary Importation and therefore retain Caribbean Jee-Jam, Ex-VAT.
